Photo Scavenger Hunt
Posted by AdministratorApr 7
This is where everyone breaks into teams and has to fulfill as many photo opportunities as possible from a given list. This is always really fun and usually has you running about town for an hour, or so. This will be next Friday, April 17th @ 6 p.m. We will be out from 6:30pm to 8pm. For those bringing a camera, don’t forget any cords to connect to a computer or SD cards or whatever disk your neat camera likes to use. We try to look at them all after the hunt!

Recess
Posted by AdministratorApr 28
On Reading Day Eve, the national holiday, we will be meeting at the house at 7pm to go to a True Men show at Baldwin until 9pm. Then we will be having outdoor recess at Red Barn Park from 9:30 to 10:30! Our rainsite is Pershing Small Gym, but this will be a good time to just wind down during finals and relive the excitement that was elementary school! Afterwards, we will replenish our carbs by eating all the pancakes at the BSU Pancake Dinner!
Year-end Review
Posted by AdministratorApr 27
On Sunday, May 4th, right after Sunday Dinner around 6:15ish, we will be taking a group photo of LSF. So try to be there. Then after that, we will be having a very informal meeting in which you can and should voice any and all comments regarding LSF. Things you liked/disliked, what we should change for next year, ideas of new things to do next year, what we should keep next year, etc. are some of the things we will be going over. This is another important event that as many people as possible should come to so that we know what we need to do for next year.We will also be picking our theme for next year.
This year our verse was:
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.
Romans 5:1- 2a
So if you have any recommendations please bring them. Here is a sample of some of the ideas currently on the board, some with themes, some without:
Romans 8:38-39 Inseparable
Romans 1:16-17 Unashamed
Ephesians 4:4-6 One
Philippians 5:20
Matthew 5:14-16
1 John 3:16
Ephesians 5:1-2
Hebrews 12:2-3

Te Deum
Posted by AdministratorApr 21
The final Te Deum of the semester will be this Tuesday, the 22nd, at 8pm at the House! Amanda will be speaking on the LSF theme verse, Romans 5:1-2, so it’ll provide closure for the year. Also, be sure to watch out for Hanna who’s giving the first Te Deum speech of next year!
Lifefest/Camping
Posted by AdministratorApr 21
Lifefest, a fundraiser and BBQ by Newman for Lifeline Pregnancy Center, is this Saturday, the 26th, from 1-5pm on the Quad! LSF will be having a duck pond with candy for prizes, and if you want to help out with the booth throughout the day, sign up at the House. Also, if you have any rubber duckies for the pond, e-mail Beth at bdfalkner@gmail.com. And Te Deum will play around 4 or 4:30pm, so be there for that as it will be our last performance anywhere the entire semester.
Later on, beginning around 6pm, we will be going to 1000 Hills to hang out and have a bonfire cookout! Be at the House around 5:40 , or whenever we’re done at Lifefest so we can head out to 1000 Hills. Unfortunately, we will not be camping but we will roast hot dogs, do a Bible study and have fun!
