Lutheran Student Fellowship participates in several service activities throughout the year, including cleaning up our adopted highway and volunteering at a local nursing home. We also regularly participate in Truman’s annual campus-wide day of service, The Big Event.
Spring Break Mission Trip: Each year during Truman’s Spring Break, LSF heads out on a trip to show God’s love through action in different parts of the country! This mission trip is the biggest service activity. For the 2022 Spring Break Trip, LSF went to Little Rock, Arkansas and took advantage of various volunteer opportunities such as working with the Arkansas Food Bank, a women and children’s shelter, and Camp Trinity. Service opportunities vary each year, but it is always an excellent chance to serve the Lord.
